Changing the Symbol in a Chart

You can quickly change a chart symbol by using the command line or the Customize Symbol dialog.

1. Activate a Chart Analysis window.
2. Select the plot of the symbol to change.
3. From the menu, click Data > Edit Symbol. The Customize Symbol dialog is displayed.
4. Type the desired symbol in the Symbol box or select a previously used symbol from the drop-down list. You can use the Symbol Lookup icon to open the Symbol Lookup dialog.

If there were studies applied to the symbol you replaced, any studies are immediately recalculated, using the price values of the new symbol.
