Data Interval Considerations

Consider these data interval issues when working with ActivityBar studies:

• Data interval of your price chart - When you choose the data interval for your price chart, have in mind the data interval you will be using for your ActivityBar study. The data interval you choose for your price chart determines what data intervals you can use for your ActivityBar study. You can only apply ActivityBar studies to time-based charts. For best results, the data interval you use to create your chart should be equally divisible into smaller time increments.
• Data interval of your ActivityBar study - When you choose a data interval for your ActivityBar study, the data interval must be smaller than the data interval of your price chart, and be of meaning to you.
