Strategy Performance Report - Settings Tab

The Settings tab lists the user-defined settings for the strategy and the symbol that is being evaluated in the current Strategy Performance Report. This report is broken down into several sections: Strategy Settings, Chart Settings, Report Settings, Strategies Applied, and Strategy Inputs.

Read on for a description of each section of the report and the fields of information that it contains.

Strategy Settings

This section lists settings that are established in the Strategy Properties for all Strategies dialog box. For more information on how to format a strategy, see Formatting a Trading Strategy. This section is divided into sections that mirror the Strategy Properties for all Strategies dialog box – Costs/Capitalization, Back-testing Resolution, Position Limits, and Trade Size.

The fields of information viewable in this tab include (listed in alphabetical order):

Chart Settings

This section lists the settings that you are using in your chart.

Report Settings

This section lists any calculation or display settings that you have modified in the Format Strategy Settings dialog box. For example, if you changed the number of standard deviations used or the number of decimal places used to display prices.

Strategies Applied

This section lists the strategies that you currently have applied to your chart (those strategies that show a status of "On" in the Format Strategies dialog box). For more information on applying a strategy to a chart, refer to Inserting a Strategy.

Strategy Inputs

Strategy inputs listed here include all the inputs you established for the strategy on which this Strategy Performance Report is based. Strategy inputs can be changed in the Inputs tab of the Format Strategy dialog box. For more details, see Editing Input Values.
