Format Scan - Notification
The Format Scan - Notification dialog allows you to enable or disable notifications from the Message Center when the scan completes or fails to run. In addition, you can enable and configure message preference and custom visual and audio settings.
Select the desired scan from the Scan Pane of the Scanner window.
Access using the menu bar Format > Scan menu sequence or click Format from the Scan Pane of the Scanner window. Select the Notification tab.
Notification
- Enable notification with the following Message Center settings... - Check this setting for the Message Center to alert you when the scan is either complete or fails to run.
- Use the global messaging preferences - Select this setting to set the global preferences for the scan. For more information, see Notification Preferences.
- Use custom settings - Select this setting to customize the preferences in how you are notified.
- Configure - Allows you to determine how you want to be notified (based on the desired global or custom setting). You can set the preferences for audible, visual and/or via email. The Notification Preferences dialog is launched.
Click OK to apply changes, click Run to run the scan, or Cancel to exit without changes.
