Format Page - General (RadarScreen)
The General tab allows you to format the general properties that you can format for a RadarScreen page include page name, update indication, column settings, auto blank rows, uppercase conversion, and reference rows.
Access using the menu bar Format > Page menu sequence and select the General tab.
- Name - Enter a name for the RadarScreen page in the Name box.
Update Indication
Sets the length of time to update the display of the symbol's cell when a new tick is received for a symbol. By default, it is set to 1 second, however, you may prefer the cell to remain highlighted for a longer period of time.
- Enable - Check this setting to display an update indication when new data is received for a symbol. The update indication appears as a brief color change in the cell receiving the new data.
- Time Interval [ ] seconds - Enter the number of seconds to highlight the symbol's cell when an update occurs in the Time Interval box.
- Allow Multiple Update Indications - Check this setting to highlight multiple symbols simultaneously when an update occurs. If you want only one symbol cell highlighted at a time, clear this setting.
Analysis Technique Settings
Displays the column name and the number of columns to freeze.
- Long Name - Select this setting to display the long name for each analysis technique in the column heading.
- Short Name - Select this setting to display the short name for each analysis technique in the column heading.
- Columns to Freeze - Enter the number of columns that you want to anchor so that they remain visible when you scroll to the right.
- Enable Auto Blank Row - Check this setting to automatically insert a blank row at the end of a RadarScreen page.
- Enable Uppercase Conversion - Check this setting to automatically convert lowercase text entered into uppercase text. For example, typing "msft" will be converted to "MSFT".
- Reference Rows - Check this setting to display a column to the far left with the numbering each row in the RadarScreen page.
- Display fractions Stacked instead of side by side - Check this setting to display fractions in a stacked format (for example, ½) rather than a side-by-side format (such as 1/2).
Apply to all pages - Check this setting to apply the settings to all RadarScreen pages.
Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
