Format Window - Style (Chart Analysis)

The Style tab allows you to format the style settings for the active Chart Analysis window. Style settings include the grid, session breaks, axis, and subgraph dividers.

    Access using the menu bar Format > Window menu sequence and select the Style tab.

Show Grid  

Displays a grid in the background of the active Chart Analysis window.

• Show Grid - Check this setting to display the grid in the active Chart Analysis window.
• Style - To change the displays the grid type, select the grid style from the list.  
• Weight - To change the grid line thickness, select the weight from the list. If the Weight list appears dimmed, it is not available for the line style that you have chosen.

Show Axis  

Displays and formats the x-axis and y-axis of the active Chart Analysis window.

• Show Axis - Check this setting to display the x-axis and y-axis in the active Chart Analysis window.
• Style - To change the axis line style, select the style from the list.

Show Session Breaks  

Session breaks are vertical lines that are displayed on the active Chart Analysis window. They provide a visual reference point to where the session ends from the previous day and begins on the following day. Session breaks are only available for tick, minute, second, and volume charts.

• Show Session Breaks - Check this setting to display a vertical session break line on the active Chart Analysis window.
• Style - To change the line style, select the style from the list.
• Weight - To change the session break line thickness, displays the session break line weight. Applicable only on certain line styles selected.

Show Subgraph Dividers  

Displays a horizontal line drawn between subgraphs in the active Chart Analysis window. The subgraph divider line makes it easier to see where the resize pointer is displayed.

• Show Subgraph Dividers - Check this setting to display the horizontal subgraph divider between subgraphs in the chart.
• Style - To change the subgraph divider line style, select the style type from the list.

Set as Default - Check this setting to use any changes that you made as your default.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
