Format Window - General (Chart Analysis)

The General tab allows you to format the chart properties of the active Chart Analysis window.

 Access using the menu bar Format > Window menu sequence and select the General tab.

Scroll Bar  

Changes the scroll bar settings for the active Chart analysis window.

• Off - Removes the scroll bar from the active Chart Analysis window.
• On - Adds the scroll bar to the active Chart Analysis window.
• Auto hide - Automatically displays or hides the scroll bar from the active Chart Analysis window. The auto hide option is determined by the size of your active window.

Chart Properties  

Contains the spacing and bar properties of the active Chart Analysis window.

• Bar Spacing - Enter the number of spaces to be displayed between bars.
• Space to the Right - Enter the number of bar spaces to insert to the right of the last bar on the active Chart Analysis window. This is commonly used when inserting analysis techniques and drawing objects.

Price Axis Display  

Controls the left and right axis on of the active Chart Analysis window. You can customize the selected axis width in characters from 1 - 15. For example, the larger the digit, the more space is provided next to the selected axis.

• Left Axis - Check this setting to display the left axis of the active Chart Analysis window. Auto displays the selected axis at the default setting, and Manual allows you to select a desired number to expand or minimize the space of the left axis.
• Right Axis - Check this setting to display the right axis of the active Chart Analysis window. Auto displays the selected axis on the right side of the chart. Auto displays the selected axis at the default setting, and Manual allows you to select a desired number to expand or minimize the space of the right axis.

The width setting for the left and right axis can be customized by selecting Manual, and typing the number of spaces you want on the active Chart Analysis window. Turning off the left/right price axis display does not affect the left or right vertical scaling of the chart that was applied from the Format Symbol > Scaling tab.

Percent Change Chart  

Changes the axis from currency to percent and displays a horizontal line to determine where the in the active Chart Analysis window that shows

• Enable - Displays the percentage in the axis of the Chart Analysis window.
• Show Calculation Baseline - Displays the calculation in which the baseline is determined from.

Watermark

Controls the appearance of a semi-transparent watermark in a Chart Analysis window.

• Enable - Displays a watermark on the background of the chart.
• Show All Data Series - Displays a watermark listing the symbols for all data series in the chart.
• Show Per Sub Graph - Displays a watermark for each symbol in a subgraph.

Improve Graphics Quality (Anti-Aliasing)  

Controls the smoothing and clarity of the edges of lines and characters on certain types of digital displays and monitors.

• Off - Turns off anti-aliasing.
• On (Recommended) - Turns on anti-aliasing for this window.

Set as Default - Check this setting to use any changes that you made as your default.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
