Format Strategy - Inputs

The Inputs tab allows you to modify the values for a strategy's inputs. You can also choose to optimize the inputs for a strategy. Inputs are parameters, or replaceable values used in the calculation of a strategy. This value remains constant and is the only type of value that can be optimized.

 Access using the menu bar Format > Strategy menu sequence select Format > Inputs tab.

Name/Value  

Contains the selected strategy's input name and value.

• Select the input to modify and enter the desired value.  You can also set an input to an EasyLanguage reserved word by typing the reserved word name as the value.

Dictionary - Launches the EasyLanguage Dictionary dialog to use an EasyLanguage function as an input.

Optimize - Optimizes the input by specifying the values to test for a strategy optimization. For more information, see Optimize.

Set Default - Uses any changes that you made as your default setting.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
