Chart Analysis Preferences - Data

The Data tab allows you to reload and recalculate Chart Analysis windows after the completion of a scheduled historical data download. Download data preferences are global settings, and apply to all Chart Analysis windows that contain at least one analysis technique with an alert enabled or at least one strategy.

 Any Chart Analysis windows that are open and not updated when the download is complete (because the Do not automatically reload/recalculate preferences are active) will be updated the next time that you open the Chart Analysis window or the workspace containing it.

 Access using the menu bar View > Chart Analysis Preferences menu sequence and select the Data tab.

Data  

• Do not automatically recalculate... at least one analysis technique (e.g. Indicator, ShowMe, PaintBar) with the alert enabled - Check this setting to not recalculate automatically if there is an analysis technique with an alert on the chart.
• Do not automatically recalculate... that have at least one strategy applied/inserted - Check this setting to not recalculate automatically if there is a strategy on the chart.
• Show Download Scheduler Request dialog... - Check this setting to display the request dialog when a historical data download needs to be scheduled.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
