Saving the Strategy Optimization Report and Graphs

You can save both the information in the Strategy Optimization Report and any of the graphs to a file. The report information is saved in ASCII text format and the graphs are saved in the graphic file format DIB.

 Activate a Chart Analysis window containing an optimized strategy. Access using the menu bar, View > Strategy Optimization Report menu sequence. The Strategy Optimization Report window is displayed.

Saving the Strategy Optimization Report as a ASCII Text File

You can create either a tab-delimited file, which is appropriate for use in a word-processing application, or a comma-delimited file, which is preferred for importing into a spreadsheet application. All of the report information is saved to the file, you cannot select a specific section to save to the file.

1. From the Spreadsheet view , click the Save icon. The Save As dialog is displayed.
2. Use the Save in drop-down list to navigate to the location to save the file.
3. In the File name box, type a name for the file.
4. Make sure that Text Documents (*.txt) appears in the Save as type box.
5. Under Format, select the option for the format in which to save the report:
   • Report - (tab-delimited file)
   • Spreadsheet - (comma-delimited file).

Saving the Strategy Optimization Report a Graph to a File

1. From a Graph view, click the Save icon. The Save As dialog is displayed.
2. Using the Save in drop-down list, navigate to the location to save the file.
3. In the File name box, type a name for the graph.
4. Make sure that DIB Files (*.dib) is displayed in the Save as type box.

 Click Save.
