TradeStation Help
You can have multiple windows open; however, only one window can be active at a time. This is an important concept because the menu choices and toolbars change depending on the active window type, and most menu choices and button commands act only upon the active window.
You must make the window active before you can make changes to it or to the objects or text in it.
A window is active when the title bar changes color. Make sure you keep track of which window is active; you need to ensure that you are working in the correct window whenever you use a menu command or command button.
When working in the Desktop, title bars are on by default; however, you can toggle them on and off. See Setting Your Desktop Preferences for information.
