Adding, Removing, and Moving Toolbar Icons
You can add buttons to any toolbar, remove buttons from a toolbar, and reposition a button on a toolbar. You can add, remove and move buttons from both default and custom toolbars.

Adding Icons to a Toolbar
- Activate a window.
- From the Menu bar, click View > Toolbars > Customize. The Customize dialog is displayed.
- Click the Commands tab.
- From the Categories section, select a category. A list of available commands will appear in the Commands section to the right.
- From the Commands section, select the command name by holding down the mouse.
- The Description option provides a brief explanation of the selected command function.
- The Current Hot Keys section displays the hot key associated with the selected command. The Hot Keys options allows you to change the hot key assignment for the selected command.
- Drag the icon to the desired toolbar by holding down the mouse. The added icon will now be displayed in the toolbar.
- Repeat steps 4 - 6 until all the icons are added to the toolbar.
- Click Close when finished.
Remove Icons from a Toolbar
- Activate a window.
- From the Menu bar, click View > Toolbars > Customize. The Customize dialog and toolbar must be is displayed to perform this action.
- From the toolbar, drag the icon to any area outside of the toolbar, release your mouse. The icon is removed from the toolbar.
- Click Close when finished.
Moving Icons from Toolbar to Toolbar
- Activate a window.
- From the Menu bar, click View > Toolbars > Customize. The Customize dialog and toolbar must be is displayed to perform this action.
- From the source toolbar to move the icon from, drag the icon holding down the mouse button to the target toolbar.
- Repeat for each icon to move.
- Click Close.
