Symbol Lookup - Find Root - Futures

The Futures tab searches and finds the desired futures symbol based on the criteria you select.

 Access from the Symbol Lookup > Custom Futures tab and click Find Root.

Futures  

• Description - Enter a search criteria that contain the letter(s) that you entered as search criteria. For example, if you enter AD as your search criteria, the search will return all symbols whose descriptions contain AD, such as Canadian Dollar but not Australian Dollar.  
• Country - Select the desired country (United States, Germany, or All Countries) to search for stock symbols associated with the selected country.
• Show Electronic Contracts only - Check this setting to show only electronic contracts in your search.
• Lookup - Displays the results you are looking for. The results will be based on what you entered in the Description and Country settings. Results will be displayed in the futures symbol box.

Symbol/Description/Currency/Exchange/Country  

Contains the results based on the criteria you selected. You can sort the list by clicking the desired a column name. An up/down arrow indicates if the column is sorted by ascending/descending (A-Z, Z-A) order.

• Optional. Select the desired column to sort by.

 Click OK to return to the Symbol Lookup - Custom Futures tab or click Cancel to exit without changes. The futures symbol you selected will be inserted in the Symbol Root box.
