Format Scan - Results

The Format Scan - Results dialog allows you to set preferences for save options for the scan results. In addition, you have the option to create a custom symbol list based on certain scan results.

Select the desired scan from the Scan Pane of the Scanner window.

 Access using the menu bar Format > Scan menu sequence or click Format from the Scan Pane of the Scanner window. Select the Results tab.

Scan Results

Contains the settings of saving the results of the scan.

• Save results every time this scan runs - Check this setting to enable the different types of durations that can be used in scheduling your scan.
• Save results from only the last [ ] runs of the scan - Select this setting to run the scan multiple times during a day. Minutes, from/to times, and running the scan on weekdays only are the options available.

Symbol List Generation  

Contains the settings in for generating a symbol list.

• Automatically create a Custom Symbol List... - Check this setting to generate a custom symbol list from the symbol universe fields you entered.
• Symbol List Name - Enter the desired name for the symbol list.
• Create a Custom Symbol List every time the scan runs - Select this setting to generate a symbol list each time you run the scan.
• Save only the last [ ] Custom Symbol Lists for this scan - Select this setting to enter an number of custom symbol lists to be generated for each time you run the scan.

Results File Generation  

Contains settings to generate a text file of the scan.

• Automatically create a Comma delimited text file of the scan results - Check this setting to create a file of the scan results that can be used in 3rd party software.

 Click OK to apply changes, click Run to run the scan, or Cancel to exit without changes.
