Chart Analysis Preferences - Style

The Style tab allows you to change the global settings for style setting for each data series is displayed for all Chart Analysis windows in your workspaces. For the bar color and weight, you can customize the settings for the regular session and outside of the regular session.

 Access using the menu bar View > Chart Analysis Preferences menu sequence and select the Style tab.

Data Series  

Contains a list of data series that can be selected to modify the style.

• Select the desired data series to set the style for from the Data series list.

Bar Type  

Contains a list of bar types to select using the selected data series.

• Select the desired bar type from the Bar type list.

Bar Components  

Contains the components that included in the selected bar type. Based on the bar type selected will determine the types of bar components displayed. For Candlestick charts: to display hollow and filled bodies for candlestick charts, the Up Body and Down Body components in the Bar Components section must be set to the same color.

• Select a desired bar component to change the color and weight style from the Bar components list.

Regular/Outside Regular Session

Contains the color and weight styles for the type of session (Regular or Outside Regular) selected.

• Color - Select the desired color style to be displayed on the chart for a regular and/or outside regular session from the drop-down list.
• Weight - Select the desired weight style to display the line thickness on the chart for a regular and/or outside regular session from the drop-down list.

• Use same color/weight for all components within each bar type - Check this setting to automatically apply the same color and weight settings to all components for a particular bar type.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
