Disabling an ActivityBar Study

You can temporarily disable an ActivityBar study from your chart. Turning off an ActivityBar study is a way to disable an ActivityBar study without deleting it from your chart. When an ActivityBar study is disabled, the ActivityBar study no longer displays on your screen, no system resources are being used to perform calculations, and no alerts will be triggered. When you want to view the study again, you can simply turn it on rather than having to insert it again.

 Activate a Chart Analysis window containing the ActivityBar study. Access using the menu bar Format > Analysis Techniques menu sequence. The Format Analysis Techniques & Strategies dialog is displayed.

1. From the Analysis Techniques tab, select the ActivityBar study you want to disable.
2. Click Status to disable the ActivityBar study. The status will display "Off". To enable or disable the ActivityBar study, click Status again.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
