TradeStation Analysis Techniques and Strategies Help

Analysis Techniques and Strategies are designed to be inserted in TradeStation analysis windows (charts and grids) to perform technical and fundamental analysis of market data and to manage strategy trading based on predefined rules.

This help file includes topics about:

Analysis Techniques - definitions, inputs, and plot information for built-in analysis techniques such as indicators, ShowMe's, etc.
Strategies - definitions, inputs, and plot information for built-in strategies used for strategy back-testing and automated trading.
Columns & Rows - definitions for columns and rows in various analysis windows.
Analysis and strategy trading Terminology - including conceptual topics and definitions related to data analysis and strategies.

Accessing Analysis Techniques and Strategies Help:

From the menu bar of the TradeStation Platform, click Help > Analysis Techniques & Strategies
From the menu bar of the TradeStation Development Environment, click Help > Analysis Techniques & Strategies
Pressing the F1 key while editing a built-in Analysis Technique or Strategy in EasyLanguage editor.
Click the Help button or Definition button in a when inserted an Analysis Technique or Strategy in an chart or grid windows to display context-sensitive information.

Ways to find information in Help:

Contents - The Contents tab provides a Table of Contents that organizes help topics by category much like the chapters in a book. Click the + to expand a category. Click the - to collapse a category. Click on a topic name to view the related topic.
Index - The Index tab lists keywords and phrases to help you to locate related topics and concepts within the help system. Type a keyword or select it from the list, then click Display to view the related topic.
Search - Use this tab to find the word(s) within help topics. Match similar words allows you to find the searched word in every help topic. Search titles only allows you to search the word in the Help topic title only. Using this option will reduce the results and is the preferred method of using Search.
