TradeStation Development Environment
The Syntax Coloring tab of allows you to view and modify the coloring scheme for EasyLanguage syntax.
Different EasyLanguage components such as reserved words, functions, inputs, and so on are color-coded so you can distinguish between them easily. Using a syntax-coloring scheme helps you to easily identify different types of EasyLanguage terms and helps find problems such as spelling and structural syntax errors prior to verification. TradeStation includes a default syntax coloring scheme but you can also create your own custom scheme.
Access using the menu bar Tools > Options menu sequence from the Editor, then select the Color tab.
Make sure that there is a noticeable contrast between the syntax colors and background color for easier viewing.
If you have syntax coloring enabled, modifying the text colors on the Color tab will only affect punctuation. If you do not have syntax coloring enabled, modifying the text colors on the Color tab will change all text.
