The Update Manager Popup Notification displays on your desktop, above any application or active window you are working in.
Depending
on your preference settings in how your updates are downloaded, the pop-up
notification will be slightly different.
Once the TradeStation platform patch update has been automatically downloaded,
a pop-up notification will be displayed that the patch update is available
to be applied.
If you have chosen to manually download your updates (see Desktop
Preferences - Updates) a pop-up notification will be displayed that
the update is available to download.
To apply the latest update or release
version, click the notification text
to display the TradeStation Update Manager to initiate the application
of the update/release version. TradeStation
will now be the active window on your desktop displaying the TradeStation
Update Manager window. For more information, see Managing
updates in TradeStation Update Manager.
You have
the option to bypass the update by closing the popup window. Click the
to close the pop-up notification.
By doing so, it will not display again unless TradeStation has a newer
update for you to apply to your computer.
