Automating a Strategy

To automate a strategy so that it generates orders that are sent to the Strategy Orders tab in the TradeManager window, the workspace that contains your Chart Analysis window containing the strategy must be open and the strategy must have a status of "On". For information on changing the status of a strategy, see Changing the Status of a Strategy.

1. In the Chart Analysis window, select the strategy you want to enable. The strategy's arrows will be enclosed by a white square when they are selected.
2. Select Format Strategies from the shortcut menu. The Format Analysis Techniques & Strategies dialog is displayed.
3. From the Strategies tab, select the Generate strategy orders for display in TradeManager's Strategy Orders tab check box.
4. Click Close when finished.
