Position Search Wizard - Underlying Asset Target Price
The Position Search Wizard - Underlying Asset Target Price dialog allows you to select a target price, specify a price range and target price style.
Access from the Position Search Wizard/Format Search - Holding Period, or Format > Search and select the Underlying Asset Target Price tab.
Target Price Assumptions 
Contains the price movement assumptions settings for your underlying asset.
- Use the current price... - Select this setting as the target price for each underlying asset.
- Use a price target... - Select this setting to enter a percentage and above/below the current price for each asset.
- Specify a price assumption... - Select this setting to specify a price assumption from the Assumption column for each underlying asset.
- Equals Price 1 - Assumes that the underlying asset will reach the exact price entered in the Price 1 box on the close date of the holding period you selected.
- Between Price 1 & Price 2 - Enables you to define your own target price range assumptions using the range of prices entered in the Price 1 and Price 2 boxes.
- Between Price 1 to Price 2 (use probability) - Applies a probability weighted price distribution calculation using the range of prices entered in the Price 1 and Price 2 text boxes.
- Equals Price 1 +/- 1 to 3 volatilities - Applies a price distribution calculation using the target price entered in the Price 1 text box, and from one to three (depending upon style chosen) standard deviation(s) from the average of the high and low volatility selected in the Volatility step of the Position Search Wizard.
- Equals Price 1 +/- 1 to 3 volatilities (use probability)- Applies a probability weighted price distribution calculation using the target price entered in the Price 1 box. The target price can be from one to three (depending upon style chosen) standard deviation(s) from the average of the high and low volatility selected in the Volatility step of the Position Search Wizard.
You can enter the current price of the underlying asset in the Price 1 box to have the Position Search calculate a price range based on the current price.
From the wizard, click Next to proceed, Back to display the previous dialog, or Cancel to exit without changes.
From the Format > Search menu sequence, click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
