Creating a Position Chart Window Template

In order to create a Position Chart window template, the chart you want to save as a template must be open and active.

1. From the Menu bar, click Format > Save Template.
2. Enter an appropriate name in the Template Name box. For example, you might name a template "Updates and All Preferences." Or, you may select the name of an existing template and replace the settings of this template with those of the current Position Chart window.
3. Click OK.

Saving a template is not like saving a workspace. None of the data, including the plots contained in the Position Chart window, will be saved as part of the template. Only the formatting, such as the colors, fonts, and grids, will be saved within the template.
