Format OptionStation Position Chart - Plots

The Plots tab allows you to create up to six plots on a chart. These plots are often used to compare different positions on a chart, analyze a position using different combination of data variables, or any combinations of data variables and positions. Time, price and volatility are your x-axis variables. For example, if you selected price to be your x-axis, price will not be available as a variable for your plot and will be grayed out in all the Plot tabs.

 Plot 1 and Plot 6 are enabled by default when a Position Chart is created.

 Access using the shortcut menu and select Create Position Charton the desired position from the Positions pane. Click thePlots tab.

Plots  

• Highlight the desired plot to format.
• Show plot - Check this setting to have this plot displayed on the chart.
• Position to plot - Select the position to plot from the drop-down list.
• Color - Select the desired color for the plot from the drop-down list.

Time  

• Select the desired setting next to the time you want to plot, or click User defined to specify a date.

Underlying asset price  

• Select the desired price option to specify a price.

Volatility  

• Select the desired volatility setting. If you do not want to use the current volatility value calculated by the Volatility model, check the User defined setting and enter a volatility value.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
