Optimize

The Optimize dialog allows you to specify the values to test for a strategy optimization.

 Access from the Format Analysis Techniques & Strategies dialog and select Strategies tab. Select the desired strategy and click Format. The Format Strategy [strategy name] > Inputs tab dialog is displayed.

1. In the Start box, enter the first value to test.
2. In the Stop box, enter the last value to test.
3. Enter the increment by which you want to test in the Increment box. For example, if your start value is 5, your stop value is 25, and you enter 5 for the testing increment, the optimization will test the following values: 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25.
4. Click OK when finished.
