The Messaging dialog allows you to enter the email and text/SMS message addresses you want to use to receive alert notification messages.
Access from the Notification Preferences dialog by checking Email and clicking Configure. The Messaging dialog is displayed.

- My SMTP Server Requires Authentication - Check this setting if your email provider requires you to enter an account name and password to send emails through their SMTP server.
- Account Name - The name associated with your email box.
- Password - The password used to access your email box.
SSL / TLS / No Encryption - The message encryption protocol specified by your email provider.
Port - A number (common ports are 25, 465, and 587) used by your provider's SMTP Server to remotely send mails.
Test - Attempts to send a sample message using the current messaging settings.
Click OK to close the Messaging dialog, OK to close the Notification Preferences dialog, or Cancel to exit without changes.
