Using the Import/Export Wizard
The Import/Export Wizard can guide you through the process of importing and exporting EasyLanguage documents. Follow the link for complete instructions on the wizard that you are using:

Import EasyLanguage from TradeStation.com
Step 1
- Select the Import EasyLanguage from TradeStation.com wizard.
- Click Next. A notification dialog is displayed indicating that you will be taken to the TradeStation.com web site.
Step 2
The EasyLanguage Library Forum allows you to search through a wide variety of EasyLanguage topics posted to the forum. A number of filters are also available to limit your search my Category, Market, Timeframe, etc.
- Once you've found an EasyLanguage item that you want to use you can import it in several ways:
- Click Import to TradeStation and select Open.
- If the topic contains an Attachment with an ELD extension, click on the underlined file link and when prompted, select Open. Proceed to Step 3 below:
- If a code snippet is provided, highlight the EasyLanguage code, right-click on the code and select Copy from the menu. Return to the TradeStation desktop, create or open an EasyLanguage study, function, or strategy and paste the copied snippet.
- Click to close the TradeStation EasyLanguage Forum browser window.
Step 3
- In the Import Wizard, under Analysis Types, select the analysis type to import.
Click Select All to select every type in the list or click Clear All to clear the check boxes.
Step 4
- Under Available analysis techniques, select the analysis techniques to import.
Click Select All to select every technique in the list or click Clear All to clear the check boxes.
Import EasyLanguage File (ELD, ELS or ELA)
Step 1
- Select the Import EasyLanguage File (ELD, ELS or ELA) wizard.
Step 2
- Determine the file location to import. Click Browse or Scan to locate the file on your system.
- Click Next.
Step 3
- Under Analysis Types, select the analysis types to import.
Click Select All to select every type in the list or click Clear All to clear the check boxes.
Step 4
- Under Available analysis techniques, select those that you want to import.
Click Select All to select every technique in the list or click Clear All to clear the check boxes.
Export EasyLanguage Documents File (ELD)
Step 1
- Select the Export EasyLanguage Documents File (ELD) wizard.
- Click Next.
Step 2
- From the Available Analysis Techniques list, select the analysis techniques to export.
To filter the list, select the type of analysis technique that you want to filter it by from the Analysis Type drop-down list. To choose from the entire list, select All Analysis Techniques.
- Click to add the analysis technique to the Techniques to Export list. To add the complete list of analysis techniques, click .
- Click Next to go to the next step.
Step 3
- Determine the file location to export to. Click Browse or Scan to find the location on your system.
- Click Finish to complete the export process.
Export EasyLanguage Documents File (ELD) protected
Step 1
- Select the Export EasyLanguage Documents File (ELD) protected wizard.
- Click Next.
Step 2
- From the Available Analysis Techniques list, select the analysis techniques to export.
To filter the list, select the type of analysis technique that you want to filter it by from the Analysis Type drop-down list. To choose from the entire list, select All Analysis Techniques.
- Click to add the analysis technique to the Techniques to Export list. To add the complete list of analysis techniques, click .
- Click Next to go to the next step.
Step 3
- Determine the file location to export to. Click Browse or Scan to find the location on your system.
- Click Finish to complete the export process.
