TradeStation Development Environment (TDE)

The TradeStation Development Environment (TDE) is an tool that runs outside of the TradeStation platform.  In includes the EasyLanguage Editor, EasyLanguage Dictionary, and related tools where the code for all of the functions, analysis techniques, and strategies can be viewed and edited.  

In addition, the TradeStation Development Environment includes an integrated help system that can be accessed from the its own Help menu.

From the TradeStation Platform you can access the TradeStation Development Environment in one of the following ways:

• Use the View > Launch Development Environment menu sequence to start-up the TDE.
• From the TradingApps window, click the EasyLanguage icon.
• When formatting an analysis technique or strategy, click Edit EasyLanguage to launch the code Editor in the TDE.
