Displaying Command Line Errors

Command line errors are always displayed in the status bar. You can also choose to display Command Line errors in a window. The Command Line Errors window contains a Don't show me this message again check box if you decide you don't want to display Command Line errors in this manner any longer.

Access using the menu bar File > Preferences > Desktop menu sequence. The TradeStation Desktop Preferences dialog is displayed.

  1. Click the Command Line tab.
  2. From the Error Dialog section, select the Display dialog for Command Line errors check box to display any command syntax errors in the Command Line Errors dialog box. Command line errors are always displayed in the status bar regardless of whether this check box is selected.

Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
