Volume-Based Chart
A volume-based chart records the open, high, low, and closing prices for a specified volume of shares traded. Volume-based bar charts are good for someone who is interested in analyzing trading volume. For instance, you can select an interval such that for every 10,000 consecutive shares traded, a single bar records the open, high, low, and closing prices occurring within the period it took to trade 10,000 shares.
