Customize Window - Status Line (Chart Analysis)

The Status Line tab allows you to add and remove items and change the appearance of the status line for each selected chart window. The status line is displayed at the top of each charted symbol's subgraph and includes information such as symbol, description, and latest price. See Chart Status Line for more information. Use the Font and Color tabs to further change the appearance of the status line.

 Access from a Chart Analysis window using the Settings > Window menu sequence and select the Status Line tab.

Show Status Line - Check to display a status line at the top of the price chart and subgraphs in the active chart window.

Indications  

Indications are displayed in the status line on the active Chart Analysis window.  

  • Check this setting in the desired indication type you want to display in status line of the active Chart Analysis window. Indications selected will appear in the upper-left corner of a sub-graph, preceding any other status line fields.

When viewed on a chart, you can hover your mouse cursor over the Strategy portion of the status line to see a ToolTip that displays the status line's information and names of all active strategies and studies applied to the active chart.

Fields   

The Available and Selected box list show the available fields that can be displayed in the active chart.

  • Available - Select the desired fields to be displayed in the status line. Use the Ctrl or Shift keys to select multiple selections simultaneously.
  • Selected - Select the desired fields to be removed from the status line. Use the Ctrl or Shift keys to select multiple selections simultaneously.
  • Add - Moves the selected fields from the Available list to the Selected list.
  • Remove - Removes the selected fields from the Selected list to the Available list.
  • Move Up - Moves the selected field up in the sort order of the Selected list.
  • Move Down - Moves the selected field down in the sort order of the Selected list.
  • Customize - Customizes the selected field to the appropriate category which is based on the what field is selected. For example, by selecting High, you have the option to reduce or increase the amount of decimals displayed for the High in the status line.

As you select the options in the dialog, the Preview pane will preview how the status line will appear in the active chart. 

Set as Default - Check this setting to use any changes that you made as your default.

 Click OK to apply changes or Cancel to exit without changes.
