You can choose to be notified of generated orders and changes in order status using email messaging, sound alerts, or the Alert window. You can set up a single notification type for a specific order status or use a combination. For example, for filled orders, you might want to receive an email notification along with a sound alert. To set up your order notification methods, see Setting Up Order Notification Methods.
Choose this option to send an email notification to the email address specified in the Messaging window.
Choose this option to receive the Alert window while you are in TradeStation; the title bar of the Alert window reflects the event that generated the order. You can set the window to interrupt what you are doing or appear as a flashing task bar at the bottom of your window.
Choose this option to receive a sound notification while you are in TradeStation. You can select from the sound (.WAV) included with TradeStation or use your own .WAV files. TradeStation sound files include voice alerts for each order status such as "order filled" or "order rejected".
